are much more likely to engage in binge drinking and meet clinically defined criteria for alcohol-use disorder than teens who have tried alcohol but never mixed alcohol with a energy drink.

Nearly 10% of teens ages 15 to 17 have consumed an energy drink mixed with alcohol at least once.
