Post-concussion

22 Jan

Post-concussion brain changes continue for months. Brain changes are present even after clinical tests have returned to normal and players have been cleared to return to their sports.

The changes were seen three months after the concussions, which usually happened because of falls that resulted in a hit to the back of the head. The meaning of the observed changes is not clear, players had no symptoms when the changes were seen.
