Cured Meat and Asthma

If you have asthma, consider cutting back on cured meat such as sausage.

In a study of 971 adults with the condition, those who ate cured meat four or more times per week were 76 percent more likely to have more severe symptoms over seven years, compared with those who consumed such meat infrequently.
