Regularly doing light physical activity helps extend your life.
In a recent five-year study of older men in the United Kingdom, 30 minutes of easy activity on a daily basis-including stretching and doing light household chores, lowered their risk of premature death by 17 percent.
Getting just a couple of minutes of moderate activity at a time had health benefits. too, if it added up to 150 minutes per week.
