90% of first heart attacks could be prevented if everyone adopts a heart healthy lifestyle.

There are 6 steps to prevent a heart attack…that was the finding of the landmark Inter heart study of about 30,000 people in 52 countries. The lifestyle changes were:

Stop smoking

Lose excess weight

Exercise more

Reduce stress

Drink alcohol in moderate amounts

Eat more fruit and vegetables.
