What to Do if You are Overweight or Obese?

Losing 10-20  pounds improves your health and decreases health risks. Talk with your healthcare provider or registered dietitian to decide on a healthy weight for you.

Avoid:   High fat, high sugar foods, High sugar drinks and juice, large portion sizes

Do:   Keep a food and exercise journal, make realistic lifestyle changes-avoid fat diets, walk every day if ok by your health care provider

If we don’t change our habits, we will out-live our children due to their health problems caused by obesity.

Estimated medical costs related to obesity are as high as $147 billion per year
