How to Sidestep a Stroke

About nine of 10 people who are at risk of a stroke could reduce that risk if they took certain steps.

They should maintain proper levels of blood pressure and blood fats, get regular physical activity, eat a healthy diet, lose excess weight, avoid smoking, treat heart disease and diabetes, consume alcohol  only in moderation, and reduce stress or depression. So says a study from McMaster University in Canada.
