Healthy Gums, Fewer Strokes…

we hear from Souvik  Sen, M.D, MPH. It is known that gum disease can lead to stroke.

Recent finding:  The worse the gum disease, the higher the risk. Those with severe gum disease had a risk more than double that of someone with healthy gums. Inflammation caused by gum disease is thought to be the cause.

Self-defense:  Brush and floss daily. See your dentist regularly.
