Only 30 percent of men who get the prostate specific antigen test for prostate cancer may hear about the test’s pros and cons from doctor’s beforehand, according to a recent Brown University study.  Thirty-four percent hear neither the benefits nor the drawbacks. And 36 percent hear only about the advantages of the test. If your doctor suggests a PSA test, be sure to ask about pluses and minuses.
