Help us find a cure for cancer…Click Button to Donate Today

Due to the COVID-19 virus, we have cancelled our Tee Off 4 Cancer Golf Classic for cancer research set for June 27, 2020.  Instead, we have decided to move our fundraising efforts online during the month of May and June to raise money for cancer research through online donations.

Because even COVID-19 can’t stop our mission of curing cancer, we’d be honored if you’d consider helping us out from the safety and comfort of your home. Click our Join Cancer Crew button below to signup and help us fundraise.  Or click the button above and help us through a donation!

Proceeds will benefit two cancer labs working on finding a cure for this deadly disease.

They are:

The University of Kansas Cancer Center and Dr. Danny Welch who has been working to cure cancer for 40 years. Dr. Danny Welch has devoted his career to finding out what causes cancer to metastasize or spread – and how the spread of cancer can be prevented or predicted. Dr. Welch and his team have discovered eight of the more than 30 known metastasis suppressor genes.

Varadan Lab at the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Vinay Varadan is integrating AI and deep machine learning to help discover the best approaches to cancer treatment based on specific DNA and RNA of cancer tissue. The overarching theme of his lab is the development and application of multi-scale systems biology approaches to delineate mechanisms of disease progression and to discover novel biomarkers of therapy response in cancer.

FUNDRAISER FOR IBI MARTIN & FAMILY

Monday, February 3, 2020

at Macaroni Grill

A fun-filled event happened at Macaroni Grill in North Olmsted to support cancer patient Ibi Martin and her family.  Over $2000 was raised to help Ibi with expenses during her battle with Hodgkins lymphoma.  A 55 inch smart HDTV set, a Cleveland Indians autographed Sandy Alomar Jr. baseball and a Home Depot bucket of tools were among the raffle items.  Those who dined with us donated 20 percent of their check to Ibi and her family.

Thanks to all those who attended and all those who donated!
