In a recent analysis of 18 studies that tracked 2 million women and men, researchers found that taking multi-vitamins and mineral supplements failed too reduce the risk of heart disease or stroke.
The supplements also didn’t cut the likelihood of dying from these common conditions.
What does help? A diet full of vegetables and fruit, regular exercise, alcohol only in moderation, and avoiding smoking.
