Urinary Tract infections might be prevented with cranberry juice, says Tomas L. Griebling, MD,MPH.

Recent finding:  Over a 24 week period, drinking an eight-ounce glass of a cranberry beverage once a day cut UTI incidence in women who had had two or more UTIs within the past year by approximately 40%. Always best:  Avoid the sugary versions of cranberry and other fruit drinks.
